Heterogeneous crystalline membrane ion-selective electrode

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005245

An ion-selective electrode where the active sensing element consists of a finely divided crystalline ion-exchange material dispersed within an inert polymeric binder. This membrane selectively interacts with specific ions in the sample solution. The potential developed across the membrane is measured against a reference electrode.
