Internal filling solution
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005964
An electrolyte solution contained within an ion-selective electrode or a reference electrode, which establishes electrical contact with the internal reference element. This solution typically has a stable composition and ionic strength to maintain a constant potential at the internal electrode interface. It provides a stable reference potential for electrochemical measurements.
