Electron charge

The fundamental unit of electric charge carried by a single electron, which is a negative elementary charge. This quantity is denoted by 'e' and has a magnitude of approximately 1.602 x 10^-19 coulombs. It is the smallest discrete amount of electric charge observed in nature.
