Enzyme conjugate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003999
A molecule formed by covalently linking an enzyme to another molecule, such as an antibody, antigen, or nucleic acid. This combination retains the catalytic activity of the enzyme and the specific binding properties of the other molecule. Enzyme conjugates are widely used in immunoassays and molecular biology techniques for detection and labeling.
