Conjugate solutions
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002441
Two liquid phases that are in equilibrium with each other, each containing a different concentration of the components of a mixture. These solutions arise when two or more liquids are partially miscible. The compositions of conjugate solutions are represented by points on a binodal curve in a phase diagram.
