Epigastric

Relating to the upper central region of the abdomen, located just below the sternum and above the navel. This area contains several organs, including the stomach, duodenum, pancreas, and parts of the liver. Pain or discomfort in this region, known as epigastric pain, is a common symptom of gastrointestinal disorders, such as gastritis or peptic ulcers, and can also be a sign of toxic substance ingestion.
