Viscera
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013694
The internal organs located within the major body cavities, particularly the abdomen and thorax. This collective term includes organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, and intestines, which are enclosed by membranes like the pericardium and peritoneum.
