Estuarine

Relating to an estuary, which is a partially enclosed coastal body of water where freshwater from rivers and streams mixes with saltwater from the ocean. These environments are characterized by fluctuating salinity and nutrient levels, supporting unique ecosystems. Many marine species use estuarine areas as breeding grounds or nurseries.
