Flocculation rate coefficient

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004486

A quantitative measure of the speed at which dispersed particles in a suspension aggregate to form larger, loosely bound clusters called flocs. This coefficient reflects the frequency of successful collisions between particles that lead to floc formation. It is influenced by factors such as particle concentration, stirring rate, and the presence of flocculating agents.
