Hay fever

An allergic reaction to airborne particles, such as pollen, dust mites, or pet dander, primarily affecting the mucous membranes of the nose and eyes. It is characterized by symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itchy, watery eyes. This condition is also known as allergic rhinitis and is mediated by immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies.
