Hematuria

The presence of blood in the urine, which can be either macroscopic (visible to the naked eye) or microscopic (detectable only under a microscope or by chemical tests). It indicates bleeding somewhere along the urinary tract, from the kidneys to the urethra. Causes range from benign conditions like urinary tract infections to more serious issues such as kidney stones or tumors.
