Hydrogen
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013162
The chemical element with atomic number 1, the lightest and most abundant element in the universe. It typically exists as a diatomic molecule (H2) under standard conditions and is a key component of water and nearly all organic compounds. Its isotopes include protium (1H), deuterium (2H), and tritium (3H).
