Hydroureter
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005495
The dilation and distension of the ureter, the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder, due to an obstruction that prevents the normal flow of urine. This condition leads to a buildup of urine within the ureter, causing it to swell. Prolonged hydroureter can result in kidney damage if the obstruction is not relieved.
