Hydrosulfides
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005494
Organic compounds containing the -SH functional group, where a hydrocarbyl group is attached to a sulfur atom that is also bonded to a hydrogen atom. These compounds are also known as thiols or mercaptans. They are characterized by their strong, often unpleasant odors and are more acidic than their alcohol counterparts.
