Infinite miscibility
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005826
The property of two or more substances to mix in all proportions to form a single homogeneous phase. This implies that there is no limit to the amount of one substance that can dissolve in another. Ethanol and water exhibit infinite miscibility at room temperature and pressure.
