Intelligence quotient

A score derived from standardized tests designed to assess an individual's cognitive abilities and intellectual potential. This numerical representation is typically calculated based on performance relative to a peer group of the same age. IQ scores are used in psychology and education to evaluate cognitive function and identify learning differences.
