Kinematics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006345
The branch of mechanics that describes the motion of points, bodies, and systems of bodies without considering the forces that cause the motion. It focuses on geometric aspects of motion, such as position, velocity, and acceleration. In chemistry, kinematics can be applied to describe the trajectories of atoms and molecules during reactions.
