Lateral flow test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006476
A paper-based diagnostic device designed for the detection of analytes in liquid samples without the need for specialized equipment. The sample flows along a strip containing reagents that capture and visualize the target analyte, typically through a color change. These tests are widely used for rapid point-of-care diagnostics, such as pregnancy tests or COVID-19 antigen tests.
