Lx life table or schedule
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006819
A statistical tool used in demography and ecotoxicology to summarize the survival pattern of a population from birth to the maximum age attained. It presents the number of individuals surviving to each age interval (lx) from an initial cohort. This table provides insights into age-specific mortality rates and life expectancy within a population, often used for assessing environmental impacts.
