Macroporous polymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013249

A polymeric material characterized by a network of interconnected pores with diameters typically exceeding 50 nanometers. These large pores allow for rapid mass transport and provide a high surface area. Macroporous polymers are widely used in applications such as chromatography, catalysis, and as supports for cell culture due to their open structure.
