Microporous carbon

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007352

A type of carbon material characterized by a high proportion of pores with widths less than 2 nanometers. These materials exhibit a large internal surface area and strong adsorption capabilities due to their extensive network of small pores. Activated carbons are a common example, widely used in purification and separation processes.
