Macroscopic kinetics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006893
The study of reaction rates and mechanisms at a scale where the system is treated as a continuum, without considering individual molecular events. It focuses on observable changes in concentrations over time and the overall rate laws. This approach is typically used to describe reactions occurring in bulk phases or large ensembles of molecules.
