Micellar charge

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007286

The net electrical charge carried by a micelle, arising from the ionized head groups of the surfactant molecules that form its outer surface. This charge influences the electrostatic interactions between micelles and with other charged species in solution. It is a key factor in determining micelle stability and behavior in aqueous environments.
