Morbidity survey

An epidemiological study designed to determine the prevalence or incidence of a specific disease or health condition within a defined population at a particular point in time or over a period. These surveys collect data on illness and disability through methods like health examinations, medical records review, or questionnaires administered to a representative sample of the population. The results are used to assess public health status and identify risk factors associated with exposure to toxic agents.
