Multiwell sample plate

A laboratory plate containing an array of individual wells, typically 96 or 384, designed to hold multiple samples for high-throughput analysis or screening. Each well can contain a separate sample, reaction mixture, or reagent. These plates are standard in automated analytical systems and robotic liquid handling platforms.
