Nephrosis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007826
A non-inflammatory degenerative disease of the renal tubules in the kidneys, distinct from nephritis which involves inflammation. It is characterized by damage to the tubular epithelium, which can be caused by exposure to nephrotoxic chemicals, ischemia, or other pathological processes. This condition is a form of nephropathy and can lead to acute kidney injury if the tubular damage is severe and widespread.
