Nuclear magnetic resonance relaxometry

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008105

A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique that measures the rates at which nuclear spins return to equilibrium after perturbation. These relaxation rates provide information about molecular dynamics, such as rotational and translational motion, and interactions with the surrounding environment. The technique is sensitive to molecular motions occurring on timescales from picoseconds to seconds.
