Oligospermia
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008223
A condition in males characterized by a low concentration of spermatozoa in the ejaculate. This reduced sperm count can impair male fertility, as fewer sperm are available to fertilize an egg. According to World Health Organization guidelines, a sperm concentration below 15 million sperm per milliliter is considered oligospermic.
