Intracytoplasmic sperm injection

A specialized in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure where a single sperm is directly injected into the cytoplasm of an egg to achieve fertilization. This technique is primarily used to overcome male infertility factors, such as low sperm count or poor sperm motility. It has significantly improved success rates for couples facing severe male factor infertility.
