Open-tubular column
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008254
A type of chromatographic column where the stationary phase is coated on the inner wall of a narrow-bore tube, leaving a clear path for the mobile phase. These columns offer high separation efficiency due to reduced resistance to mass transfer. They are commonly used in gas chromatography.
