Porous-layer open-tabular column
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009284
A type of chromatographic column where the inner wall of an open tubular capillary is coated with a thin, porous layer of stationary phase material. This porous layer provides a larger surface area for interaction compared to a simple wall-coated open tubular column. These columns are often used in gas chromatography for separating volatile compounds.
