Porous pot test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009283
A method used to assess the toxicity of substances to aquatic organisms, particularly in sediment. Organisms are exposed to the test substance within a porous container submerged in the environment. This setup permits the exchange of water and dissolved chemicals while retaining the test organisms, providing a controlled exposure scenario.
