Periodic copolymerization
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008644
A copolymerization process that results in the formation of a periodic copolymer, where the monomeric units are arranged in a regular, repeating sequence along the polymer chain. This type of polymerization requires precise control over the monomer addition or specific reactivity ratios. It contrasts with random or block copolymerization, which yield different sequence distributions.
