Periodic voltage
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013382
An electrical potential that varies regularly over time, repeating a specific waveform at a constant frequency. This type of voltage is often applied in electroanalytical techniques to perturb an electrochemical system and elicit a measurable response. Examples include sinusoidal, square, and triangular waveforms, each providing different insights into reaction kinetics or species concentration.
