Pharmacogenomics

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008721

The study of how an individual's entire genome influences their response to drugs. This broader field considers multiple genes and their interactions to predict drug efficacy and adverse reactions. Pharmacogenomics aims to develop personalized drug therapies based on an individual's genetic makeup, moving beyond single gene effects.
