Procedure verification

The process of confirming that a measurement procedure, previously validated or standardized, is suitable for use in a specific laboratory or under particular conditions. This involves demonstrating that the laboratory can achieve the performance characteristics claimed for the method. Verification is less extensive than full validation and focuses on confirming established performance criteria.
