Product-limit method
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009511
A non-parametric statistical method used to estimate the survival function from time-to-event data, even when some observations are censored. Also known as the Kaplan-Meier estimator, it calculates the probability of survival at successive time points. This method is widely applied in clinical trials and epidemiological studies to analyze outcomes like disease-free survival.
