Mass limit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006982
The maximum or minimum mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) that can be transmitted or detected by a mass spectrometer. This parameter defines the operational range of the instrument for analyzing ions. For example, a quadrupole mass analyzer has a specific mass limit determined by its operating voltages and physical dimensions.
