Product
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009503
A molecular entity formed from reactants as a result of a chemical reaction. Products appear on the right-hand side of a chemical equation and represent the final state of the atoms and molecules after bonds have been broken and reformed. In the reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to form water (2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O), water is the product.
