Pulse amplitude selector
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009670
A circuit that permits the passage of electrical pulses only if their amplitude falls within a specified range. It acts as a filter, allowing signals above a certain lower threshold and below an upper threshold to pass through. This device is used in nuclear counting to discriminate against noise or unwanted radiation events.
