QTc interval
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009716
The QT interval of an electrocardiogram adjusted for heart rate, because the raw interval shortens as the heart beats faster. It spans ventricular depolarization, from the onset of the Q wave, through repolarization, which ends with the T wave. Bazett's formula, QTc = QT divided by the square root of the RR interval (the time between consecutive R waves, in seconds), is one of the most widely used corrections.
