Interval 3 in emulsion polymerisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005997
The final stage of emulsion polymerization, which begins after the monomer droplets have been depleted. During this interval, the polymerization continues within the existing polymer particles, consuming the monomer dissolved within them. The polymerization rate typically decreases as the monomer concentration within the particles diminishes.
