Monomer-starved emulsion polymerisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007556
An emulsion polymerization process where the rate of monomer addition to the reactor is lower than the potential rate of polymerization. This leads to a monomer concentration in the polymer particles that is below saturation. The polymerization rate in this scenario is controlled by the rate of monomer feeding.
