Rate of polymerisation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009944

The speed at which monomer units are converted into polymer chains in a polymerization reaction. It is typically expressed as the rate of disappearance of monomer concentration over time or the rate of formation of polymer. This rate is influenced by factors such as monomer concentration, initiator concentration, temperature, and catalyst activity.
