Heat of polymerisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005147
The enthalpy change that occurs during the polymerization of a given amount of monomer to form a polymer. This value quantifies the energy released or absorbed during the formation of new chemical bonds in the polymer chain. It is typically expressed in joules per mole of monomer reacted.
