Raman spectrum

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009913

A plot of the intensity of Raman scattered light as a function of the Raman shift, which is the difference in wavenumber between the incident and scattered photons. Each peak in the spectrum corresponds to a specific vibrational mode of the molecules in the sample. This spectrum provides characteristic information about molecular structure and composition.
