Reduced temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010051
A dimensionless quantity representing the ratio of a substance's actual absolute temperature to its critical temperature. This normalization allows for the comparison of the behavior of different substances under corresponding states. It is a key parameter in the principle of corresponding states, which predicts the properties of fluids.
