Response surface methodology
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010269
A collection of statistical and mathematical techniques for developing and analyzing empirical models that describe the effect of several independent variables on a response variable. The goal is to map a response surface over a particular region of interest and identify the variable settings that result in a maximum or minimum response. This methodology combines experimental design with regression modeling to find optimal conditions.
