Rise time

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010368

The duration required for a signal or system response to transition from a specified low amplitude to a specified high amplitude. This measurement quantifies the speed of a system's reaction to an input. In atmospheric chemistry, it can characterize the response of analytical instruments to changes in analyte concentration.
