Robot
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010395
An automated, programmable machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions autonomously or semi-autonomously. In biomolecular screening, robots are used to perform repetitive tasks such as liquid handling, plate manipulation, and sample preparation. This automation significantly increases throughput and reproducibility in high-volume laboratory operations.
